Neues Museum Berlin

Neues Museum Berlin (Berlin New Museum) – carefully restored and daringly extended. The result is an extremely sensuous architectural experience of overwhelming atmospheric intensity and a highly modern museum complete to the last technical detail. Fascinating interplay results wherever new meets old. Schörghuber Spezialtüren was consulted as early as the door planning phase due to the high quality, accuracy and precision requirements.

Museum Brandhorst Munich

The exterior of the Museum Brandhorst looks like an abstract painting and refers to the importance of the building as an art museum. With hanging heights of up to 9.5 metres the interior architecture offers art the ideal space, including almost unseen “works of art”, Schörghuber special doors – pure elegance.

The Museum of Visual Arts Leipzig

The extremely fine-ceilinged rooms and the planned wide passages called for some very special works of art in terms of planning and realising the doors. Owing to its technical facilities and structural planning capabilities, Schörghuber was able to master these callenges brilliantly.

Dresden Castle

Flexible manufacturing options and the unique know-how qualify Schörghuber for special solutions where dimensions and finish must take monument conservation into consideration.

Treasure Chamber of Cologne Cathedral

Schörghuber special doors and glazing were constructed for the treasure chamber of the cathedral which harmoniously combine modern design and history and meet the very highest security demands. Because faith alone is not protection enough.

Papal Nuncio's Residence Berlin

The design from Prof. Baumewerd was the winner in the competition. The jury members were rich in their praise: "This design demonstrates impressively how, together with the Basilica, an urban ensemble is taking shape which very well expresses the representative function of a diplomatic mission of the Holy See." All 110 Schörghuber special doors were developed with a focus on this aspect and represent understated elegance and perfectly-formed security.

Semper Opera House Dresden

In order to equip this magnificent historical building with the most modern security doors, a partner was selected in Schörghuber who not only perfectly plays the claviature of fire, smoke and noise insulation doors, but also commands the know-how for construction and installation as well as monument preservation aspects.

Historic Opera House Frankurt

"For the True, Beautiful, Right" is the inscription on the historic opera building. And the special Schörghuber doors used, manufactured in a masterly job of craftsmanship, could hardly be better described.

Opera House Chemnitz

Upon completion of reconstruction, the building was considered Germany´s most modernly-equipped opera house. Uncompromising quality and the most modern safety and security engineering was also demanded of the doors. Schörghuber had the answers.

Opera House La Fenice Venice

The libretto for the highly noise insulated doors of the auditorium was placed in the hands of Schörghuber. Noise insulation of up to 50 dB guarantees undisturbed cultural enjoyment and set standards throughout Europe.
