New ministry building Stuttgart

The new ministry building houses around 20 different ministry sites in one building. The 7500 square metre building is a 200 metre long new build complex. It consists of eight storeys in total and is divided into six segments and various security zones. Workspace for around 610 employees is available in an effective area of around 19,500 square metres. The building accommodates the ministry of the interior, the ministry of the environment, the ministry for rural regions and consumer protection as well as the contact point for the state government and catastrophe protection. There is also a conference and event area, a daycare centre for children and a canteen.

 

Plot size: around 7,500 square metres. Effective area: 19,376 square metres. Total construction costs: around 65 million Euros. Opening: February 2013.
